Group Tastings at La Grange
Thank you for your interest in coming out to La Grange for a group tasting! We offer group tasting reservations for groups of 6 or more adults. Tastings are reserved hourly at a fee of $15 per person. You will taste a flight of 8 wines selected by our winemaker from our currently available wines. We require a $30 deposit to reserve a group tasting, which goes toward the cost of two of your tastings (for groups of 20 or more we require a 50% deposit). We ask that the remaining tastings be paid day of in one transaction to keep our register area clear. A group tasting lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on how quickly you taste. We have offerings of cheese & meat selections along with crackers and bread available for puchase. You are also more than welcome to bring your own tasty picnic to enjoy after your tasting. We have seating available on first come first serve basis. Booking a group tasting does not guarantee seating afterwards. Please give us a call if you have questions or to schedule your group tasting!
We reserve the right to refuse service to any visibly intoxicated persons or those who are unable to produce valid ID. State law prohibits the consumption of any outside alcohol on our premises.
Children, Food and Pets
We are a family friendly winery however we do insist that all children are under DIRECT adult supervision at all times! Keep in mind that some of our patrons desire a quieter winery experience so please be respectful of our other customers and our property. In addition to being a winery we are also a working farm and our vineyard and winemaking areas are not kid-friendly. If you have any questions about these areas do not hesitate to ask any of our staff members!
We offer an array of gourmet food selections individually packaged for your convenience. Our offerings include artisan cheeses, gourmet meats, bread, crackers and plenty of sodas and water. Selections vary and some items are sold out very quickly!
You are welcome to bring your own food but please note that Virginia Law prohibits guests from consuming outside alcohol on winery property. Anyone who brings alcohol onto our property will be asked to leave and the alcohol confiscated and poured out (per VA ABC law).
We welcome animal companions on the property year round, though they must remain outside and on a leash at all times to ensure every guest’s comfort. We will ask pet owners whose pets are not leashed to leave the property. Please clean up after you pet while you are visiting. We do have an outdoor tasting area that is open when the weather permits.
