August/2007
Dear Bob & Candace,
Melissa's Message
by Melissa Stephan

Melissa, Event Manager

August has been a lot of fun so far  - We've bottled some 2006 wines (delicious!), we've released our 2006 Cuvee Blanc and 2006 Pinot Grigio, we've sold out of our wonderful Vidal Blanc and are about to sell out of 2005 Cabernet Franc (Better come and get yours soon!).  We've also had another wedding and our "Taste of Spain" Winemaker's Dinner was one of the best ones yet!

What next? Well, we're gearing up for this year's harvest which is always tons of work for our winemaking team but also a time of celebration as we all get excited about what the outcome of all of that work will be, more delicious wine!

We're busy planning our 1st year Anniversary Celebration which will be Labor Day weekend.  Be sure to come out and enjoy some handmade artisan chocolate samples and wine specials.  It will be the last weekend for one of our famous pitchers of sangria, you don't want to miss that!  We'll have games on the lawn for you to enjoy - ever played croquet while balancing a glass or Meritage?  How about demonstrating your hoola-hoop skills while sipping Chardonnay?  It should be a great weekend of fun!

Then, before you know it, it will be Halloween and, if you haven't been to a Winemaker's Dinner yet, you should come to our HAUNTED Dinner.  It will be October 20th in the Barrel Room which will be filled with spooky spirits and creepy (but delicious!) food. We'll all be in costume and would love for you to be too.  We'll share our ghost-stories with you, there will be lots of tricks and treats and who knows who might materialize.

Enjoy the last weeks of summer, we hope to see you at the winery!
