Join Barrel Club for 2009
- The Winery at La Grange is offering interested parties the opportunity to own a wine barrel at the winery. This is similar to barrel program offered in 2008. First mixed case of wine in September-December 2010.
The number of wine barrels is limited to 30+ this year. Contact Us if you are interested in reserving a barrel.
Barrel Club Information
- Cost is $1,000 +tax
- Specially crafted barrels by Vicard Tonnelleries of France with winery name and special detailing
- Etched plaque with your name or dedication
- Barrels will arrive in the mid-summer 2009 and be put on display before being filled with the year's grape harvest in September/October
- Annual Barrel Owner's Social in December each year (4 years).
- Annual Spring tasting from yours and other barrels for 4 years as the wine reaches maturity before bottling, starting in 2010 at The Winery at La Grange.
- Mixed case of wine from each vintage year after bottling, total of four cases. First case September 2010 (2009 Vintage), remaining cases September 2011 (2010 Vintage), 2012 (2011 Vintage), September 2013 (2012 Vintage). Approximately $200 value per case; total of 48 bottles.
- You get to keep the barrel after the last bottling in September 2013.
- Limited production Double Magnum (3 liter bottle) of The Winery at La Grange's Reserve-styled wine, autographed by owner and winemaker, Chris Pearmund. Distributed at Annual Barrel Owner's Social in December 2009.
- No tasting fees in the tasting room immediately upon payment of the barrel and while the barrel is in use (4 years) at The Winery at La Grange.

Vicard Tonnelleries is a family owned and operated cooperage in Cognac with an annual production of over 30,000 barrels. Their barrels are sold all over the world and are especially in demand by producers of red wine, particularly Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The Vicard cooperage is run by Mr. Jean Vicard, Director and Owner, recipient of the distinguished "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" award, and his two sons Jean Louis, Export and Sales Manager, and Jean Charles, Quality Control Manager.
